In the boundless steppes, where the wind carries the songs of ancestors, there lived Talgat Alim – a shamaness who saw what others could not. Upon her shoulder perched an owl, silent witness to the many souls who came seeking truth.
One day, a young shepherd arrived, his face weathered and his heart heavy with guilt. He tried to speak, but his voice broke in his throat. Talgat nodded and, without a word, pointed to a place by the fire. They sat in silence for a long while, until at last the boy spoke the words he had carried for years – of hurt, of anger, of fear that he was unworthy of forgiveness. The shamaness did not answer right away. Only when he fell silent did she look at him – so deeply that he felt all his excuses shatter within.
“Your heart already knows the truth,” she said softly.
“Now learn to carry it without shame.”
The next morning, the shepherd set out on his way home, the same – and yet transformed.
The legend of Talgat Alim endures as a tale of how the truth hidden in the heart is not a burden, but the beginning of inner peace.
